So my new 125 is right in front of my laundry hook up that we don't use. My idea is to attach short hoses to each one, that lead into the tank, and I can turn it on and fill the tank up when needed. The drain is there for easy water changing too.

My question to you guys is ...

Does anyone have ideas on how to inexpensively attach a couple short hoses and if so what type? They would only have to be about a foot or two long.

Links to products would be great. I have an idea but I just don't know what parts to use. I searched online for a while and couldn't find any short hoses. The shortest I found was a 4' for 10 bucks. That isn't bad, but I'd rather not have to cut up a hose that I paid 10$ for X 2. That may make me cheap, but I don't care :)

Creative minds ... go!

Man Good luck Its Ticking me off I have the plumbing ran to my tank for drain and refil all I need is the hoses and its like 7 dollars for one hose or 15 for 2 even at wal-mart I am like this is insane I can buy a freaking 50 hose for like 20 bucks and you can't give me two of small ones for 10.

Ranting aside if your just going to run the hose to the tank you should just buy the two 4' ones so you have enough rough to raise it a few inchs above the top of the tank. Don't want it back siphoning into your water supply. If it where me I would say forget the hoses and setup a drip system. I love my drip system and only have a normal water change plumbing setup for emergencies.

edit: seriously don't put them directly into the tank like you say in your post.

it should be just a regular garden hose connection just go to a plumbing store buy a female end and a bulk pice of hose whatever length you want
