Dont you have a landscaping store around you? I have one by me and they sell it for .22 cents a pound and it sucks up nitrates really good.

Think Barstow California...

I gather my own. There is a massive lava flow (black) just to the East of town... Pull to the side of the road... pick up a couple of tons.

So it sucks up nitrates, what happens to it though? Could it maybe be released later somehow back into the tank?
