Its been one of those days where all the things you plan to do just gets F-ed all to hell. So since I couldn't do the other things I wanted to get done, I finished scaping Laz's old tank.

Its been a few weeks since his tank sprung a leak. We fixed the leak, built that cool stone/planted hide, and are plumbing it into the shared water system that I keep making my poor husband redesign lol.

There's no fish in here yet. Will move them tmrw. I know its still cloudy and I will post more pics as it clears but tell me what ya think so far.

from what it can see, looks great! Personally I would organize the rocks into more of a pile, than evenly spread out on the sand, and put the larger ones as the foundation, smaller ones on top/in front.
Thanks for the advice! Do you think Laz will just pull everything apart and I just wasted 3hrs tho? Lol

Probably will move it around a bit, should be pretty easy to maintain a messy pile though. Just might add a little bit of depth & a gradual decline from the rock "cliff" in back (what is that by the way?) . Just what I see, but i'm no expert aquascaper :)

It is a plexiglass box covered in foam faux rock with a plant bed on top. Its got a built in " Chimney" in the back so I can run an air line through the back and maintain water movement under the hide. I built it so the bichir can get away from Laz if he decides to be a jerk. The other end of the tank is open sand and swim space since I read oscars need the open area

I like it, let's hope Laz ain't into tank redecorating and has to make his own twist to a great looking tank.
