Lazy Pleco's

I have seen some seriously lazy plecos but mine is a boss at it. This is my albino chocolate pleco. It grabs pellets from the surface and falls backwards. Really thought he was dying the first couple of times he did it. He likes to eat on his back or he tangles himself in plants to eat.

I've had some do this but I've never called them lazy for it. I almost think of them as being creative or they are enjoying the food.

Had a big common years ago that would come up to the surface and suck floating fish food, he would get so involved with it that he would fall backwards upside down and float to the bottom in some sort of feeding trance. Funny stuff.

yeah that's what it looks like he even hits the bottom and keeps eating while on his back- I think it also helps keeps the corydoras from sharing I keep trying for video but he gets all self conscious as soon as he sees the smart phone come out.
