Leaf Fish Questions?

So I was at my LFS, and I came across some Spotted Leaf Fish, and I was wondering; are these brackish fish or am I confusing them with Archers?

If they are brackish, what would be the best biotope for them?

all are freshwater, though some species do enter brakish. they'res about 10 species. This it?

I believe so, They didnt have much brown, they were more white with little black dots and less than an inch in length.

that sounds like an archer and yes those can be in brackish i have that are 3 inches long and doing well!

look up ctenopomas- thats the genus- these rare african or asian

true leaf fish are south american and live in fresh, very acidic water
