leak test...how many days?

hey everyone,
i finished sealing my tank, waited till silicone dried, and filled the tank to test for leaks.

my question is, how many days should i wait when testing for leaks? Its been 2 days and everything seems fine.

You wait until you feel comfortable about putting it into you house. It is already a good sign that it has not leaked. Now it is personal comfort level.

After I seal a tank I usually wait 24 hours and then fill it up. I let it sit full for a day outside. If no leaks then I use it.

I let silicone cure for 48-72hrs and leak test for 5-7 days. I've found that it either leaks instantly or at 3 & 5days or never Mostly never .

I've had one that leaked like 2 weeks later but it was due to an unlevel stand... Actually was a counter top that had a lump in it

Other than that... I wait 24-72 (depending on the size of tank) then I fill it... who needs a leak test

thx for the suggestions everyone...i think ill wait 5 days then set it up

that means my tank is going up tomorrow! woot
