I got a used 350 and just filled it up for the first time and one of them is leaking. Any ideals out there to stop it and I'm not going to be using it.

Draining as we speak.....this is why I hate drilled tanks....

All bulkheads have a rubber gasket, yours may be old and have cracked, just replace the gasket ( available at placed like Home Depot, Lowes etc) and see what happens. If you can't find one, make it out of a bicycle tire inner tube or similar piece of rubber.

Yeah, it is most likely the rubber gasket being worn out or improper placement. Assuming you put it on correctly, should be a simple fix in theory, but a lot of water and time to do it.

Going to try the rubber gasket first.

I did my first drilled tank and sump last year and had one or two problems to start of with. However once you follow the simple rules with bulkheads they really are simple and easy to use. As others have said, replace the rubber gasket.
Then what works for me is:
1. make sure all faces are clean
2. rubber gasket should be on the inside
3. Use plenty of teflon tape on the thread
4. DO NOT overtighten, finger tight is normally good enough
5. Never use silicon

I hope this works.

I used white vinigar to clean the glass, on a used tank def get a new gasket as suggested.. they are cheap. and like already stated don't over-tighten! i had minor issues when setting up our first drilled tank... now... i wish all my tanks where drilled!
