Leaking sump...

So I found out that my 20gal sump leaks. . I know how to re seal it but when should I do it? Cuz it takes 2 days for the silicone to cure and I dont think my fish can go 2 days without filtration.

You can repair it wet with one of the epoxy putty products that are available. They can cure underwater to the hardness of acrylic. And, it's safe to apply around fish.

One is called Aquastik Epoxy Putty and is carried by petsolutions.com

Says not for use with live rock or corals, so if you have sensitive fish I'd be careful.
