So I got up yesterday morning to find that my 55 mixed cichlid tank is leaking (somewhere in the bottom seal).
I managed to get all the fish transferred into a 30 gallon so I can have a chance to either repair or replace to tank. I spent a couple of hours with a razor blade, mineral spirits and a rag and took off the entire inner seal for the tank, in hopes to reseal it with a new bead. In the process of taking it outside so I could clean it out (not alot of space to do it inside), I managed to put a very small chip about 1/3 of the way up on one of the corners.
I started filling the tank up (to about the 1/3 mark) with some warm soapy water when *snap* the front pane is now in 2 pieces. I guess I'm now in the market for a new 55 gallon.
Anyone know where to find a cheap replacement in the Denver area?
