So i was away for the night and came back the next morning to find my entire bottom of the tank cabinet + the tv stand sitting next to the tank soaking wet. All the water was coming from my Rena filster Xp3 apparently upon further inspecting the circle seal is bad( hopefully i can find a replacement today in my area). So i was just wondering to any rena users does this happen a lot? i would like to not have to worry about my filter leaking and potentially costing me a lot of money in damages. Let me know if you have had this problem with you Xp3 or any rena filters.......i will be drying my room for awhile so i will check back later hehehe.

ive actually had this problem happen to me a couple times. i have yet found the need to get new gaskets. the main problem i had was that the gasket was not seating itself properly so i had to readjust the gasket and slowly close my xp3 up. and for future leaks i keep my xp3 in one of those foil catering trays with a water alarm inside of it so that if it ever does leak the alarm will beep.
this is the type of alarm i have

and i recommend with an aquarium to have one in the stand of their tank.
