Learn From My Mistake

My leo gave birth to 2 premature pups tonight because i let my male bd harass her. She was always my most dominant ray and i thought she could handle it but i was wrong. With having 3 prego females it is very hard to keep everyone separated from the males especially since my 350 just blew out.

The 2 pups are alive and their yolk sacs are still intact but they are only about 2" inches across. I may be able to get them on blood worms but they may be too small.

All my hard work of keeping rays and this batch of pups may not make it because of my stupidity

That's bad luck Trev. Not really your fault though mate considering you just had a tank leak on you. Best of luck and hope they survive for you. I can't imagine how small a 2" pup must look.

Good luck Trev. Do you think that the male BD knocked up the leo once she gave birth prematurely?

No it dosnt look like the bd bred her after. Not sure what the deal is. He may have dropped his load in the tank, the water was super cloudy

Heres a pic. The 2 rays on the left side are the new ones. The one in front looks messed up. The one in back looks super small compared to the leoleohen pup next to it
