least aggressive gar

i was thinkin about addin a gar to my tank but since its gonna be a ray tank(hopefully next week ) i was thinkin mabye a flordia/spotted gar is this one of the less aggressive species? what is there adult size? if this would not be a good choice do you have any recommendations i cant remeber what michael has in his tank ill have to check....

I had a spotted gar, and it wasnt aggressive at all. It never attacked another fish unless it was small enough to eat.

my floridas are only aggressive to fish 3 inches or less. they are all 15-16". My alligator gars are 8-10" and they attack fish up to the same size as themselves.

sorry i don't have exact numbers, but i believe they are quite cheap. a bigger problem is tracking one down and making sure it's a shortnose, which isn't as common as say florida or spotted
