Leaving dead snails in tank?

I recently loss my 4" female Rabbit snail. I wasn't sure if she was dead or not because she went dormant for months one, but the smallest part of her shell is dissolving now. It has been at least a month since she stopped moving, so I assume the fleshy bits are gone since MTS are living inside her shell now.

Is it ok to leave her in there to dissolve? It looks pretty awesome and I'm sure it's adding calcium to the water for my hole snail population.

I'd do it. There was a time when I used dead snail shells to keep ph up. As you said, it's free calcium for everyone else.
