How much time should it take to remove a led diode?
Then soder one back in.
I watched some youtube, and found a few short cuts.
The video I watched used soder wick, to remove the diode. I found it quicker too, use side cutters and cut the terminal ends off.
Leaving them attached too the heat sink board. Then with a big pistol style sodering iron. Heat the terminal and when the soder melts the small terminal will stick to the sodering iron.
Then simply clap the new diode down, heat up the terminal ends. The residual tin will melt and bond
***The diodes were not epoxies or glued. Too glue them I used thine epoxy, on a q tip. And let it flow in between the heat sink and the diode.
I have quite a few led lights, and trying to find ways to keep them going.
