I'm looking for some recommendations for LED lights for my 180g acrylic aquarium .

It's fresh water with an albino and Tiger oscar, silver dollars and a pleco. Sand bottom without background. Large piece of driftwood in the center. 60" long x 21 tall x 32 deep.

I don't need anything fancy. Im not an expert on lighting so I'm not sure what wattage to look for and what will be sufficient for the tank size and width. I prefer a clean crisp light, not with a yellowish tint, don't want to stress the fish and want to bring out their colors.

Picture is an empty tank currently. I made the hood and can customize it to a different light fixture.

Any recommendations help. Thanks! 20161102_211623.jpg 20161102_211606.jpg

Beamswork 10000K LED. Not sure if they make a 60" but they do make 48", or maybe two 30" lights. A lot of people have been giving these some great reviews and they are relatively cheap.

Thanks! I looked them up and they have great reviews . Im debating between two 30 inch lights or one 48 inch. I don't want to over do it, a lot of people are saying its very bright. But i don't want it to not light up the tank enough and the tank is pretty wide. Leaning towards two 30's.

You can search my recent posts in another LED thread. Just installed 10K beamswork on my 210 gallon. Pics are up as well.

why not 2x 48" one towards the front and other towards the back.
thats what i would do.

I use two 36 inch finnex ray 2's and a 48 inch finnex planted. I have them creating a triangle shape above my tank. The tank is planted. If you want simple lighting, get 2 36" lights from finnex. Styer than a 72" since you can sell them easier if you you ant to upgrade down the line.
