Had these LED for a couple of months now got a decent timer on them so the power decreases on the whites whilst the blue powers up. Wasn't a fan of blue LED but these have turned out pretty nice I think.

Mind informing me what kind of LED you use? I'm looking at options for a 300 gallon. I have two current satellites that I will most likely end up using, but considering more options.
Shopped around for ever and ended up getting a guy to build these for me. Just three 8 foot strips, two white and one blue. Nothing special but was not prepared to pay the stupid money the big manufactures want for LED units. I stuck these to a length of gloss white extruded plastic sheet 8mm thick and suspended from ceiling.
Awesome thanks. I have the currents on hand, but I feel like they won't provide enough light. I guess we'll find out in a couple weeks.
