LED Spot or flood lights

Hey guys I'm looking for a good lighting solution for my 35 gallon hex. I realized with the small foot print a single LED spot or flood light fixture could potentially give me what I need for plants.

Here is a existing thread I found that is doing what I hope to do.

I could be interested in any decent spot or can lights you guys find I'll be looking around and putting up what I find here.

If you guys think that will work with a planted hex I'll just grab the same spot light as the other guy.

I would use a LED flood as opposed to a spot and you wont need a very large one. Pay attention the the color. Remember, the higher the number, the whiter the light with 6500K being natural daylight and say 2500K being soft white or more of a yellowish color. As far as growing plants, it dont know if LED light has the right UV content if any.

I don't think plants need uv, just corals.

Got my light it was busted and have returned it. Waiting for the new one to come will post pics when its setup.

Ebay LED flood Light, Cheap, 6500K(freshwater) look it up, 10watts, aquarium advice a guy is using them, look up the posts he has.

Plants (for freshwater) need a 6500K temp salt water more around 12000K temp

The light I got is 6000k to 6500k that is the label.

I have gotten 3 consecutive broken spot lamps from the yalstore seller on ebay. I can't believe this.

I requested a full refund but didn't get a reply... Those lights are discontinued so not something I want more of. Anyone know of another high efficiency LED light like that, they used just 6 watts.
