I have a small fish breeding hobby/ I supply my local fish stores with guppies, corydoras and such. They have a hard time getting healthy fish so it's a beautiful arrangement.

I quarantined some plants for 4 weeks. Didn't notice any leeches. Spread them to 5 tanks. BOOM a month later I find a leech. That was last week. This week....oh my gosh they are in the filters and substrate.

I am researching the web as much as possible and have watched every video...my gosh there is not a lot of info out there. Unfortunately my led says that they won't hurt anything and "eww".

I don't know what to do. I love my fish so much. I do water changes everyday and spend hours with them. Sorry. I don't want to write a book.

I need a medicinal option. Tearing down all the tanks is not one. Please help me?

I have 2 beautiful fire eels that are hand fed, 28 inches. We are very attached.

2 senegal bichirs
8 Amazon puffers
500 Corydoras Aneus
6 panda corys
1000? Very expensive guppies (Moscow's, nebulas, etc.)

Nerites ramshorm pond and bladder snails which I am willing to part with

Breeding ghost shrimp, willing to part with.

Will clout be safe for the fish I have or is there a better option?

I anxiously await you reply.

Sincerely,

Halena

Would dose the tank with trichloforon. Get rid of substrate and filter pads etc. Empty the tank and filter keep dry for atleast 2 months.

Would setup salt bath 4tsp per g and dip the fish for 15min if able and separate the all the fish. After salt bath use clean water and keep water pristine. May need to repeat again and again. May need to pull off the leeches physically from the fish and May need to repeat the bath again.

Best of luck.

Thank you very much. I have checked all the fish and there are no bites at all. took me a few hours.

It's been discontinued there. Thanks though. I'm having a hard time finding that, that is why I asked about the clout. There is 1 bottle on Amazon for 85.00

Clout won’t work.

RD. RD. Oddball Oddball Drstrangelove Drstrangelove know about chemicals.

Other option is dip the fish in salt baths and keep separated and monitor. Then empty and keep dry for several months and try a restart. Throw out substrate and filter pads etc. The eggs are very resistant.
