Hey guys, just wanted to know, is it ok to leave the left over shells from mussels or clams in the tank for lets say a month or 2? I clean out any left over shells bi weekly, but wanted to know if it would effect the water chemistry if i were to leave it in for a few months or indefinitely. thank you

Not an issue. Effect would be negligible, if any, and even then would only increase the hardness which is fine. This is especially true if, as I assume you are, you are doing regular water changes.

Agreed, it should not be an issue and will actually help keep them from getting bored. Mine had a little rock that I keep in there he plays with all the time.

Got any pictures, I would love to see that.
