Hey guys i was on the WFAW(Washington Fish and Wildlife) site and saw that they had specific types of pirhana instead of the whole famly,
Does that mean i can own wimples and other generas of Pygocentrus, Rooseveltia, and Serrasalmus than what is listed
heres the link

they are all illegal...

here ya go, this will give you a more detailed answer

edit: i just noticed that you listed wimples... i would imagine that those would be legal as i didn't see anything about the catoprion genus, wimples aren't really piranhas tho, they are just related

i think to legally own em in washington, you have to be able to spell piranha. unfourtunately you cant own em.
:ROFL:thats good
and i think you need to learn how to spell unfortunately
thanks for the info im gonna get me self some wimples
kno anyone that sells em?????

off the top of my head, i don't know of anyone that sells wimples, but i can check a few online spots and see what i can come up with for ya

thnaks that be awesome i know that aquascape had some but not anymore

yeah, they are usually pretty hard to find, but if you keep your eyes peeled and are always prepared to buy them, you can get lucky

thanks gonna call midway first and see if they have them on a list that they could order if not then portland it is

Whimple Piranhas are hard to find. They are usually online purchase items. Wet Spot had them for 3-4 months with no interest. I don't think they would stock them anymore, but they will special order.
