Before I go out and do something stupid.. Are Piranha legal in New York?? Are they a pain in the butt to take care of?

They're legal in NY providing you obtain a permit before buying them.

Piranhas are harder than most fish to take care of. They require alot of maitenance and time. If you want them just because you want to watch them tear up a feeder, please do not get them.
