legless lizard?

i am REALLY creeped out by snakes i dont know what it is i just dont really like them but i saw a legless lizard and went over there and asked the guy if i could get it out thinking that it is cute so the guy gets it out and puts it on my hand and i liked it and wasnt creeped out so then feeling brave i asked if i could hold the ball python an sure enough it started to crawl up my arm and i freaked out and made the guy get it off of me but why am i not freaked out by legless lizards i find it very strange that i dont like snakes but LOVE legless lizards wtf?!
soo the point of this thread i need a complete noob care guidline for glass lizards a good website a good thread/sticky? and if anyone has one please post pics and your experiances

There are quite a fewspecies of glass lizards, the one I am thinking of only eats lizards(anoles) but I am sure there are some that will eat crickets. They are called glass lizards because they "break" when scared(their tail falls off). I don't know too much about them though, sorry. Also perhaps since it wasn't a snake (although similar) you weren't afraid? Also legless lizards are not nearly as muscular as snakes(in my experience) so that could be the reason?
