I have a botia modesta, unfortunately dyed blue. I bought it thinking it was it's natural color. Saw some naturals recently, not purple enough.

Sorry. But, you just said 'purple'. You didn't specify any particular hue.

LOL< I would like Vikings Purple and Vikings Gold. I think the Royal Gramma is my only hope, I will get one for my SW setup when it is more established.

my new goal is to build a tank out of legos.. I'll use epoxy and cement to hold everything in place, and add a plexyglass viewing window....bah... I'll stick to the easy stuff.. interesting finds though!

If you stuffed some heavy weight in the crevices of the legos, it should hold it down.

Use one of the Weld-on plastic bonding agents.

Dude that's awesome,I know Legos have been used for octopus tanks(they hide food in them and octopus have to get to it),as far as purple fish their r purple guppies.
