I have a ? about my lungfish I read a prev. thread about this but the answer seemed unsure. I got this fish from some one who was calling it a eel and was giving it away, when I picked him up there was also a little 2 in. oscar with him. For a couple months I just left the oscar in his tank as my neighbor wanted it so I kept it until they could by a tank for it. Well the day they were supposed to take the oscar I wake up to find the poor lungfish with all four of his legs to be eaten half way off. Now I treated him and they are healed on the tips but will they regain their length.

Here are a couple pics of him the day I got where he was placed with my other fish as I finished getting his sand put in his tank.

Yes, they usually grow back. The only time they have trouble is when the legs are eaten down to the stump, where it still has a good chance of growing back, but not 100 percent. Good job on having the foresight to medicate it.
