Hi there I was thinking of getting a 4" marbled cat to put in my 7ft tank with my 4-7" peacock bass. I would like to know
1. Will the longibarbus outgrow the peacock bass
2. How big will it grow in 1 year
3. Does their growth slow down at a certain size.

I'm also thinking of getting a 6" megalodoras irwini will these two cats make good permanent tank mates for peacock bass?
Thanks

i dont think itll outgrow the pbass.
but everything will outgrow the irwini.
i think all fish slow down at a certain age.
not too sure about the other questions.

i keep a lerisus longisbarbs they get 2 about 12"-16" in year so i have had mine is 14" and about 1 year old so i would say go for it mine is strange though ive got 2 tsn 4" in the tank and an red oscar that is 2" and he hasent eaten them so must have a frendly 1 lol they might be like that though not sure well good look

Thanks for the info guys. I just ordered a little 4" longibarbus online. It should arrive on Tuesday. Hopefully it doesn't look so small that the tems could eat it, otherwise I'll have to keep it in the smaller tank with my dats for a while.

It was advertised as a perruno but I believe I'm right in saying they are not available in the hobby so it will be a leiarius longibarbus. I'll take pics when he arrives. I can't wait, I'm treating myself after I had to sell my 18" silver aro and 16" RTGG.
