Location is in Chicago, Illinois, Overnight shipping. I have ordered from this site a few times, and the fish have always arrive in good condition, then again I'm not too far away from Chicago.

Thank you so much! He just arrived today. So far he's very happy in his new tank and they were great people to deal with. He is only the second one I've ever seen available, and I now have them both.

Are you sure that it is not a perrunu cat, aka acara cat, aka marble cat, that is for sale for $50. They have the same color pattern, kinda, but a different head shape. If so that price tag seems right I have two myself, but I have been collecting fish for 20+ yrs and have never seen a leiarius pictus cat in a fish store. In fact I've only found two available and bought them both.

These are by far one of my favorite catfish, They are more active than the marbled cat's and have a very nice sailfin. Mine eats right out of my hand. They are a little territorial mine did not tolerate my marble cat's at all. In fact he had it out with the pleco many times. I got him one year ago at 10" and now he is 18"-20". I just got my new one he is 9" and in my growout tank. Great fish indeed.
