thats fine. mine is in 6x2.5x3 and I could see that working for life if I was never able to upgrade.

They do jump though I've picked mine up off the floor twice not being careful during water changes but I've since taken extra steps to jump proof my tank even during w/c's.

Mine was extremely skittish until it hit about 10" FWIW.
