Hello,

Well sadly the time has come for me to sell my leichardti arowana as I am unable to upgrade an adequate size tank to keep him for much longer. I was planning to get a 360 Gal tank for him but circumstances prevent me from doing so. He is close to out growing the 100 gal tank he is in and keeping him much longer would be unhealthy and cramped in my opinion. This fish needs much more room to grow.

I am asking $300.00 Or best offer.
leichardti is currently 13-14 inches
Eats just about anything including food sticks.
Gets along well with my Flag Tail Fei Feng and Clown Loaches.
I bought the fish from rkc772 of Infinite Aquatics December of 2008.

I would like to see him go to a low populated 360 gal tank or bigger but may sell to someone who has 240 if no one with bigger tank buys. But no smaller then 240.

This is in southern California and pick up only.
Location is Murrieta California. 92562

Please PM if interested

I think I may have an inexpensive way to keep this fish but need some Ideas from some people who have experience with indoor ponds.

Since my wife will not allow me to spend money on a 300+ gal tank at this time I feel that an indoor pond setup in the garage may be a good alternative and not as costly. I think can use make use of existing heaters, and filters, lighting and or find a good used filter to add if needed. My buddy matt is good at building sump filters systems if I need one I am sure he would help.

My idea is to get a pre fabricated pond liner that can support 300 gal or more or build the outer frame my self and then put a plastic liner in it.

I would keep this in my garage as I would have plenty of room for this there towards the back end of garage and out of the way.

It seems I should be able to accomplish this for just a few hundred dollars at first. I already have lighting that I can hang over it. And would build up a brick or wood structure around it make it look some what nice.

For now I only need to get the basic necessities going to support fish and then could add to it over the months to come, with out spending gobs of money all at once.

Any thoughts on this??? I will appreciate any and all advice.

Thanks!
