Leichardti Arowana (spotted) vs. Jardini

What exactly are the differences between a Leichardti Arowana or spotted arowana and a Jardini? A LFS has both and other than the spotted looking a little "pale" there are no noticeable differences except price (spotted being more expensive). What are the differences? Does anyone have or have links to comparison pics? Thanks!

spotted has more red in it when its older. Longer slimer body shape and better temperment that the jardini, i've kept both and i like the spotted way more. i keep asians now

Also. lei's body is longer and it has a sloping tail. The tail seems like its drooping due to its length compared to a jardini or asian which has a straight and non-sloping tail.

Here in the bay area the difference is color and about $250!(lei)

leis are silver while jars are gold
Leis also have no spoonhead.
