So I am moving in the near future and can't really take too many fish with me. I think I am only taking two polypterus with me and a 75 gallon. I have always wanted a leichardti. If i can find a 6 - 8 inch specimen. How fast will it out grow the tank and at what size? Thanks

First of all that's a big IF since they're nearly impossible to find these days. Only Rich from IA was bringing leis in, at least to my knowledge.
IMO a 75 is already the minimum for an 8" lei ......in less than 6 months you'll have to upgrade.

If you're not planning on upgrading don't even consider buying the fish.

I probably won't upgrade, but I have plenty of friends that will take the fish when it out grows the tank.

lol well waste money if you not gonna keep um, but they're gonna be out for a really long time, seasons been bad, the only ones you'll see are the adult size ones that some people might sell, but then again who might want to sell theirs
