I bought this Lei in March 2026 and just this past couple days noticed it’s having a bent spine. No tank mates, water parameters are pristine, 7ph, 0 nitrite and 0 ammonia, 10 nitrates. I quarantined him for 2 months. I did a full cycle of Med trio, salt, and even additional doses of Paracleanse and Expel-P to be safe.
Eating really well (he hand feeds) and still has full control of his caudal fins and entire body. Just had a couple of questions:
1) Is this self inflicted back injury from being scared, internal disease, or a birth defect?
2) any specific treatment?
3) other than looks, can it still have a chance to reach healthy adulthood?
If you had any personal experiences with aros and spine deformities pls add pic. Thanks!
