Leichardti coloration?

hey everyone,i got a question about my leichardti,is it normal for it too be light blue and it has black rims on the edges of it's tail and it has normal red spot as other leichardti, is the blue/black coloration because i have it in black sand?
it is 8"-9" and sorry no pictures(my 1st leichardti )

Normal, mine is about the same size and has the same blue tint to it in a black back and bottom bare tank.
