I purchased a leichardti bout 4 months ago and he is skittish as heck. He's about 6" and he eats and all but he's the biggest wuss ever. What can I possibly do to make him less skittish?

give it some surface cover ( floating plants ); if all sides of the tank are exposed to people pasing by it will get stressed.. try to cover the sides so that the tank only has front and approach it slowly. avoid sudden movements by people in front of the tank ( I know it is a pain )..i have an aro tank in the living room + six children so I know how it is....
try to find out if something inside the tank is spooking the aro...some reflexion??
