arowanas will usually eat anything from market shrimp, smelt, pellets, bugs, worms almost anything. and its usually pretty easy to get them on it.

When mine was that small i fed her live bloodworms,ghost shrimp,small crickets and sometimes feeder "rosy red minnows".
Now it's all about nightcrawler worms; 9-15pc. a day with one "fasting day"
Mornings lately she has been eating "Koi Vibrance" pellet/stick.

My leichardti I bought for $80.00 from infinite aquatics back last December 2008. He was 2.5 inch at the time and now is between 10-12 inch. He eats food sticks, super worm, meal worm, night crawler, crickets frozen bloodworm, market shrimp and scallop, market fish meat like cod, salmon, other live smaller fish if he gets the chance and any bug I can catch and throw in to him.
He lives with a 5 inch diameter Flagtail /Fei Feng, two 3-4inch clown loach, two 3+ inch sliver datnoinds. Temperament is not too bad, he sometimes will push the flagtail around a little bit but nothing too serious, usually only does this when he’s hungry and in a bad mood.
