I need some help on what's going on with my Leichardti Arowana. It's been 2 weeks now and he's not eating at all, he's a lover for pellets, shrimp and tilapia but it's been 2 weeks now that he doesn't have any interested in them and is not eating. 1 thing I notice is his fins are cut off, like something is nipping on the fins but I only have rays and a Tig so I don't think they are nipping on the Leichardti. I think that maybe is my pump level is too strong making the Leichardti stress, I check my PH and its good.

Anyone have suggestions?

Hey it could be a ammonia burn... How are the other fish?
when did you last water change?
please check your ammonia levels and let us know

My aros would go through a no eating phase as well. At times, they would go as long as one month. Never did figure out why. They would eventually start eating again but not as much......

Aros are very sensitive to changes in water quality. Have you recently done a large water change? At times, i have noticed they are more sensitive than my rays.

All the other fish are doing really well and eating like champs! I just check ammonia levels and it's where it's suppose to be so maybe could be the water flow cause he only stay at the left side of the tank

I only do 50% water change and no I haven't done any recently water change... He suddenly just stop eating and noticing his fins are coming off

How about internal parasites? Maybe ate something that could cause them to grow. How's the water temperature?
