I ordered a lei, only 3 inches. I am in the process of building a 72x72x30 ray tank. I am going to keep the water level at 24". My question is, do leis jump as much as silvers and jars? I would really like to put it in the ray tank when it gets larger, but I sure don't want to find it dried up one day. I have considered adding an additional 1 ft wall around it. It will be eurobraced in 6". Any first hand lei keepers out there? I am sure the people that have them are only going to be aware of them hitting the tops, not many going to have in an open top environment.
Thanks

have them jumped and died on me but can't really determine exactly how high they can jump. Best is to cover the tank.

Think the 1 1/2 ft of glass above the surface is enough? Plus a 6" lip around the rim. I have a 240 to keep him in, just like the idea of him in the big open tank.

Your best bet is to do some kind of mosquito netting on the top you could fill the tank all the wat then aswell

I like that idea. Thanks!

where can I get a lei?

I ordered it from Wetspot on AB. It said more available, but they have not posted one back up. You might go to their website.
