Leichardti + Silver Aro =

lei + silver = no go first time around. my lei went postal on it and beat the crap out of it =\ i was hoping he'd take nicely to it but nope. less then 12 hours and the silver was missing a ton of scales. i moved the silver to my 60gal and im gonna let it heal and get a lil bigger then try again. it was worth a shot tho because it looked cool as heck with them together. so yah ill try it again later. might put up a divider so they see eachother in the same tank but can't attack eachother, then maybe try removing it every now n then til they get used to eachother.
 
damn, that silver was nice too, did your bass eat those food sticks i gave you?
 
How big was the silver? I was thinking the same about a divider. I tried putting my silver and black together and it didn't work. I sure would like to be able to put them together in a 300g at the end of the summer.
 
the bass ate that stuff up daniel, but they only eat it 1 at a time, i cant jus toss in a couple or else they wont eat it all. but if i throw in another and they see it hit the water, they'll smash on it lol.

im gonna try the divider maybe in a month. the silver is the same size as the leichardti but the lei was jus punkin the small silver. not even the tail was messed up, it was the head/middle of its body. they lei show'd no mercy!

So there's 2 silvers, one 6" and other smaller?
 
no, if u re-read the quite you quoted. its a silver arowana, and a leichardti arowana... both about the same size.
 
sorry, I was looking at whatcha got listed in each tank and tried to referrenced that. I'm thinkin of mixing the two also down the line too.
