the barbs on the end of my leich, one of them has come off, will it grow back??

i noticed one day that the barb was missing and was replced y a small fungal infection. the fungal is fixd but barb has not yet grown back

theres a jardini at my lfs who lost his barbels and they havn't grown back

A similar thing happened to mine, he lost a barbel and it never grew back, there is a chance that it will grow back but you will probably just have to wait and see

ok. anyone who has had a barbel loss and had it grow back on any arow was it the same rate of growth as a damaged fin, or slower ?

my jars barbel never grew back. i wish it would

hmmm after reading all those threads i hope my jars barbels never fall off they are really big and straight like a silvers

my buddy has a 33" silver aro that had a barbell like rip off from a agressive jump incident. it grew back a few months later as if it never happened. but i've seen other incidents where it never grew back ever.
