Leleupi quanity

I have a 55 gallon tank and just have added 3 Leleupi. Would like to try to raise some in the tank. How many more should I get. Was thinking 2 or 3 more. Its also only fish I have in there.

If you have a male and a female, that tank should be full in no time once they pair up. You could proabbly house two pair in there if you wanted to add another.

Thanks may look into getting 1 or 2 more. just had them a couple days they are juvis still. Awesome little fish. I've not had any in about 15 years.

Yeah,. you could have more, but they will get aggressive towards each other when the get older and start to pair off.

How many isn't a big issue it the killing off of potential mates.
I love my Leleupi but pairing up they are very picky be prepared to buy more what do you have orange or yellow?

I have the yellows. Had a orange one back in the early 90s.
