Lemon Jake Cichlid

Hi everyone!!!! Hope you had a Great New Years!!!! I moved my Oscar to a 125 gallon tank and turned the 55 into an African Cichlid tank. I have 7 in the tank. I just got the Lemon Jake 2 day's ago and he is bigger than them and doesn't want to go to the top to eat with them. Is that normal?

What are the 7 original african's? It may just waiting to get accepted into the group. Try getting a breeder net and place him in there for the time being. So you can monitor and feed him without the lemon Jake competing with the others
