Lemon oscar question/advice?

Been looking for one for awhile and was finally able to find one. It's about 2.5 inches so my question is should I put it in it's own 20g for now, 55g but I have the three inch size flower horn in that currently or put it in my 220

I think even small the Flowerhorn would probably harass or harm the small Oscar. What do you have in the 220 gallon.

I would not put it with the Flowerhorn's, I tried that with my Oscar Toni, they were both small 1.5in, didn't turn out well, ended up rehoming the Flowerhorn.

220 I have 10" Balas, dat, flagtail, giraffe cat, azul peacock bass, jade goby.

I wouldn't put the Oscar in with the flowerhorn, perhaps you'd be better off giving it a month in the 20g with a very frequent wc and feeding schedule for it to put on a little size. a few weeks on its own and it will be a much safer addition to the 220

Yeah that's what I'll do. A month in the 20 then I'll move it to the 220.

once it's settled in take a picture and then one when you decide to introduce it to the 220

It's still skittish in the back of the tank. It's not completely yellow so I know it may just turn out to be an albino but it's a chance I'm taking.

Cute little guy, I love them when they are that small, their eyes are so big as compared to the ready off their bodies.
