this is not really a monsterfish question but since u guys are the fish experts I wanted to ask a question.my lfs has some lemon tetras on hold for me but they said today that the fish have the same red eyes and bottom yellow fin but are a somewat silvery color, are these still lemon tetras or are they another relative? I unfortunately don't have any pics and cant get any at the moment but was just wanting to make sure these are the right ones since I was planning on having them school with my current lemon tetra

looked up pictures on google shows some with silvery body color so is the same I think altho how can I get them to yellow up
they can be paler when young, and they fade while stressed.. then color right back up under normal circumstances.
Agreed, also when new they will be pale. After about week or so as they get comfortable they will begin to color up. If you have Lemons already they will will color up faster with other fish in the tank to school with.
