I just purchased a Lenticulata pike 2 weeks ago. It is in a 75 gallon by itself. I have a bunch of driftwood and some branches in the tank, gravel bottom. The pike is very reclusive, which is ok..that is what drew me to it. I am curious as to what others feed there pikes. I am currently feeding frozen brine, small massivore, and flake. I am not sure if the fish is eating or not becuase when I open the top it darts of under the wood. Any tips or helpful info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

any quality pellet you can get it to take works. Also earthworms and cut market shrimp.

2 of mine will take either floating or sinking. When I had a lent, I never could get it on pellets. It was always shrimp or worms. If yours is taking pellets, I would stick with that and use shrimp or worms as the occasional treat.

My trio mainly eats smelts with the occassional Massivore pellets. My male is over 12" now and females just behind!
