is it normal for leo to change its spot color?
someone told me that if the spot is yellow than its a leo x hen
if pure leo, so it has to be full white spot after reaching 6" size. is that right?

coz all i know is that the color depends on water condition, background, food, etc.. so i think its normal if leo have a little bit yellow color on their spots..

i take a picture in different BG..

what do you think?

Tottally normal. Just cuz it has yellow tint doesn't mean it's not a Leo. Whoever told u a Leo with yellowish tint like that is false.... I noticed normal Leo can have yellowish tint as the black diamonds have the pure white white spots

That's correct. Brightness of the white has a lot to do with the quality of the ray, but I've seen some very nice Leo's with yellow tinged spots and very nice Henlei's with bright white spots.

I also found that when my leos were on a shrimp/prawn diet there spot seem to be more yellowish but I started varying their diet and now the spot are bright white.
