Lower temps give you Males not females.

Other way around bro...82-84 gets you all girls, 85 is a mix, 86-88 gets you all males, and don't go higher than 89 - that can produce so called "hot females," no, not hot as in attractive, but "hot" as in infertile and highly aggressive.

I have them in vermiculite it is kinda damp in there but not overly wet. Should i put dry stuuf in there? The top kinda feel in a little bit should i be worried?

I just double check the substarte and it was wetter than I thought. I carefully moved them into drier vermiculite. Is it to late did I mess up my first set of geckop eggs??? Or did i catch it soon enough? She laid them yesterday afternoon.

The eggs are going to dent in slightly as they go to term.

I would have probably placed a dry layer of vermic above the wet layer for the eggs to sit on.

You can check your vermic by taking some in your hand and squeezing it as hard as you possibly can. It should feel damp, but you shouldn't be able to squeeze any water out of it. If it feels or sounds "squishy," then it is too wet.

Again, water kills eggs so its always better to error on the dry side because you can always add water later.
