Let me tell you a little story about her...
I put a deposit on her last year when Vamptrev posted her for sale. She wasnt ready to be shipped yet. During the time i was waiting for her to get big enough to ship some scumbag comes in my house and robs me and stole 1480 dollars from my bedroom which was my fish fund. And my work is fairly seasonal so winters are rough for me in terms of making money. Now Trev is one hell of a guy. He treated me like he was helping out a good buddy of his. Shes a one in a million ray in my opinion and i really wanted her and some a**hat almost ruined it for me. But trev let me make payments and i just cant praise the guy enough. What a good dude. I have to rank him up there with the man himself Jeff Rapps when it comes to good dudes. Arent many people around like these two guys. If the Marines taught me anything its to have mad respect for a guy like this. I mean not many people in this world anymore that will bend over backwards for a total stranger. This dude made my dream of owning one of these black rays a reality. I got so much respect for this guy. Thanks again Trev!:headbang2

Thank you for sharing, its my 1000 dollar dream as well, but I have my pair of M.M. to keep me occupied in the mean time. A friend of mine had his power go out and lost his 1500 dollar female a few months back, you would have thought he had lost a child. Congrads, are you trying to breed?

Few years back i had 122 tanks full of africans and south american cichlids i bred, was involved with the ACA CARES program and had some show quality africans and some that i bred were waitlisted cause the strains were stunning, natural gas company came in and fracked across the street and contaminated the ground water and in turn killed off my stock. This time around i decided to go with some variety and some of the more high end fish. Havent bred rays before so i wanted to get into it. Along with some catfish and others.
 
Dang that sucks man. I will tell you what I have my pair of m.m. with discus and I have enjoyed this tank more then any set up I have ever done. My only complaint are the discus are not very active but the contrast in colors is stunning. I got super lucky in getting my rays from a pet store owner who kept them for four months after I ordered them from him because my discus had a hexamita break out, and I paid him to keep them there until I had eradicated the issue and waited 2 months to make shore it did not come back, metro did not work, soaking food in epsom salt wiped it out in 4 days. I had ordered rays online that died within a month before this, and am now a 100% advocate of quarantine. You said it best when you talk about reliable good people that you know are selling you healthy rays, and I agree Rapps is a class act. Those look like Bumble bee Oscars from Rapps.

They are a F1 pair of proven Bahia Red Tails that i got from Rapps actually. He said he imported them from Germany. They are the pair in his pic below the wild babies he has pictured that he just got in. Which i will be ordering some more so i have wild ones as well as the F1 pair.

Thanks for the kind words, very glad that we could make it happen. Im not in in for the money im in it because i love stingrays. I dont mind working with people, i know how hard it is to come up with a chunk of money for a blackie. She dosnt look very small compared to your other rays lol. Thanks again!
