would one juvinile leopard gecko,be okay in a 10 gallon tank.Im thinking about getting back into them. Also do u guys use under tank heaters or bulbs.Post pics please.

Yes, you can house an adult leo in 10 gallon for life, but a 20 long would be best. I keep mine in 15 Quart Rubbermaids in a rack system.

Leo's are nocturnal so they won't need a heat lamp as this can stress them out, So can any other lighting so I would highly advise against it. The best thing to use for heat is an undertank heater placed on one side of the tank.

Hope that helps,

-Chris-:)

well me im making a 180 for 3 or four leos i love my geckos (no males)

If you've got a slate floor in the tank you can use an infrared heat bulb to heat the surface of the slate rather then getting a UTH, but UTH is really the way to go. Check into flexwatt for a cheap solution through beanfarm.com can get the equivilant of a 55 gallon heat pad for somth'n like 8 bucks.

A red nocturnal bulb is best for your heat lamp since they cannot see red nor blue.

i know they are nocturnal but i use a heat lamp on a diiming switch uv light and a heatmat just to try and make it the best home for my leo :)
