I am curious to know what does other members think is a fair price for a leo in todays market. Now a days with all these black diamond leos that is available, regular leo are not in high demand as before.

Around $800 seems to be what they are going for here lately, not to say you couldn't find a really good deal on one or a pair, but pups seem to be going from $800-$900.

$800 to 1000 for decent Quality ... up for higher quality .....Thing is guys once in a while you may find an exeption but with anything you get what you pay for nothing more nothing less !!!!

Prices are all over the place, you can pretty much ask whatever you want and it is up to the buyer if they will pay or not. I have seen 500-1200 recently. Prices will begin to go back up as Brazil is back to not exporting them and captive bred is about the only way you can find them. Anything 8" and above is almost impossible to find.

Where have you found this info Mike? is this going to be a blanket ban on all Brazilian rays as before?

Would it even matter since there are so many breeding stock in asia? Unless the price of wilds ones coming of brazil are significantly cheaper that the cb ones from asia.

If you want pure Leo or BD, pure anything for that matter. I would be hesitant to buy anything from Asia.....

I agree prices are all over the place. it depends if you want one on demand then you are looking in the 800 range, if you can be patient and diligent you can find them for 500 ish. As far as wild leos i have seen more available recently than less so not sure on that.
