leo x bd growth rate?

Hi all, what is the normal growth rate of leo x bd ray once settled in a new tank I've had my female about 4 weeks spot are going a nice bright white colour and her base colour is a deep charcoal , And how long will it take for the spots to fully develop?.

Depends on the parent quality. What size and age of ray are we talking about?
 
hi jim ,female pup 7- 8 weeks old.got it from wharf aquatics no parent details other than leo-bd and not sure of which parent is bd or leo .
 
All depends on the quality of pup but having said that i have had them born with the light grey base and also solid black base from day one. The female born this week is solid black base. Others have been more grey but turned black within the first 2 months as did the one in my avatar pic. Time will tell but yours should turn solid black given time mate. The spots will develop over the next year or so again depending on quality of pup and parents etc.
Anyway, don't leave us hanging, where are the pictures!! ;)
