Mike, do leos also have the rows of tiny spots along the disc maragin? I always thought they lacked that. Plus the pattern on the tell doesnt look leo. I assumed leos didnt have the vertical pattern along the flanks of the tail like that. I though they only had random spots.

Looks hybrid to me as well. I've never had a leopoldi with the edge spots or a tail like that.

some leos (especially pups) do have spots on the disc margin but they fade away or disappear as they grow.
